New Delhi: There is no proposal before the Government for construction of another tier of fence along the Line of Control (LoC), Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee informed the Rajya Sabha today (Apr 27, 2005).

Mukherjee said during Question Hour that construction of 734-km of fence on the LoC was completed in September last year at an expenditure of Rs 315 crore.
