Laloo issue: NDA leaders to meet President Kalam Wednesday, April 27 2005 20:54 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Stepping up its offensive against the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Government, leaders of the Opposition NDA (National Democratic Alliance) would meet President A P J Abdul Kalam in New Delhi tomorrow (Apr 28, 2005) and demand the dismissal of Railway Minister Laloo Prasad.
"We will apprise the President of the stalemate and the UPA Government's attitude towards the Opposition which compelled us to boycott Parliament for three days," BJP deputy leader in Lok Sabha V K Malhotra told PTI.
He said the delegation would bring to the President's attention the framing of charges against Laloo in the fodder scam, the Supreme Court's observation on the Centre's decision not to appeal against the Income Tax Tribunal's order favouring Laloo and demand his immediate removal from the Council of Ministers.
