Since the advocates for 11 accused and the lawyer for Mutt's manager Sundaresa Iyer were not present, the Principal Sessions Judge M G Akbar Ali, adjourned the case to June 16 with a direction that the advocates of all the accused must be present on that day.

The Public Prosecutor sought an earlier date, but the Judge declined.

Earlier, the Judge had got two chairs placed in the court hall for the two Acharyas to be seated.
