NDA decide to continue boycott of House after meet
Friday, May 6 2005 13:03 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today (May 6, 2005) expressed disappointment over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement in Rajya Sabha yesterday (May 5, 2005) saying it amounted to adding "insult to injury" and decided to continue its boycott of Parliament.

After an impromptu meeting chaired by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh told reporters that the Opposition alliance has "serious objection to the "tone, tenor and content" of what Prime Minister has said.

Another leader Sushma Swaraj said the Prime Minister's statement reflected that the Government did not want the Opposition.
