Kasuri, Natwar discuss SAARC dates over telephone Saturday, May 7 2005 11:38 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid M Kasuri yesterday (May 6, 2005) discussed with External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh the finalisation of the dates for the 13th South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) Summit to be held in Dhaka and other matters of mutual interest in a telephonic conversation.
Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement in Islamabad that the Foreign Ministers exchanged views about the dates being discussed in this regard in the last quarter of 2005. The Summit will be preceded by a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
Kasuri, as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of SAARC, is holding consultations with other Foreign Ministers to finalise a set of dates, which are acceptable to the members of the SAARC for holding the Summit during 2005.
