Hearing in Jayalalithaa's cases adjourned to May 16

Bangalore: Hearing in the Rs 66.65 crore "disproportionate wealth case" and "London Hotels case" against the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was adjourned to May 16 by the Special Court in Bangalore today (May 9, 2005) afternoon.

Earlier today, Jayalalalithaa's counsel K T S Tulasi presented arguments on an application filed by her seeking clubbing of the two cases, and that they should not be tried separately.
