A new legislation on export controls norms would be introduced in Parliament next week to check nuclear proliferation.

Even Russia had kept this as one of the pre-conditions for supply of nuclear fuel to India.
"As soon as we get the place, two more reactors will be added to the Kudankulam (nuclear power project) in Tamil Nadu," which has been set up with Russian cooperation, the sources said.
The issue may come up for discussions when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh meets Russian President Vladimir Putin today in Moscow.
