New Delhi: CBI today (May 10, 2005) questioned Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets case filed against her two years back.

Mayawati was questioned by sleuths of the Anti-Corruption unit of the agency at her official residence in New Delhi, CBI sources said.

CBI had filed two cases against the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, including her alleged involvement in Rs 175 crore Taj Heritage Corridor scam.

Mayawati was questioned for the second time today by the CBI. She was earlier quizzed by the agency in connection with the Taj Heritage Corridor scam last year (2004).
