Best Bakery case: Zaheera Sheikh appears in court

Mumbai: Following a bailable warrant issued by a special court conducting the Best bakery re-trial, prime witness Zaheera Sheikh today (May 11, 2005) came to Mazgaon session court in Mumbai.

Zaheera came to the court a day after the special judge A M Thipsay extended the warrant against her till May 12.

She is likely to be examined in the post-lunch session. A Rs 25,000 bailable warrant was issued against her on May 9, following her failure to turn up inspite of repeated summons.

Meanwhile, the prosecution completed examining her brother Nasibullah but the defence declined to cross-examine him.
