SEZ Bill gets Par's seal; LS approves amendments Friday, May 13 2005 09:34 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Lok Sabha yesterday (May 12, 2005) approved the amendments to the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Bill, which had been incorporated at the insistence of Left parties.
The amendments were moved by the Minister of State for Commerce E K V S Elangovan.
With this, the bill now gets Parliamentary approval.
Rajya Sabha had passed the bill on Wednesday (May 11, 2005).
