Popular Govt minus BJP & RJD in Bihar soon: Paswan
Wednesday, May 18 2005 07:58 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Nahan (HP): Asserting his party would not allow any attempt to dissolve the Bihar Assembly, Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan yesterday (May 17, 2005) said a popular Government sans Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) would be formed in the State soon.

Addressing a press conference in Nahan, he declined to give any time-frame for formation of the Government.

Spotlight: Bihar Elections

"The Government will be minus BJP and RJD and will headed by a Muslim," Paswan said.

When reminded that his earlier formula for Government formation had been rejected by Congress and other parties, he said he was still watching the reaction.

Bihar - Party Position

Paswan charged Railway Minister Laloo Prasad and other RJD leaders with misguiding the Centre and the public about working of the administration under President's rule in Bihar.

They were trying to create a situation in which dissolution of the Bihar Assembly could be justified, he said.
