Government decides to ban dance bars in M'rashtra

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Government today (May 18, 2005) decided to clamp a ban on the dance bars in the State.

The decision was taken at the weekly meeting of the State cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, a senior cabinet Minister said.

An ordinance to this effect is likely to be issued soon, the Minister added.
