New Delhi: The Union Cabinet today (May 19, 2005) gave its approval for exchange of 2.5 hectares of Defence land with 2.3 hectares of land of Andaman and Nicobar administration at Port Blair.

The exchange would benefit the Navy for construction of accommodation for Navy personnel, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters after the meeting.
