Sharad Yadav criticises transfer of DMs in Bihar Friday, May 20 2005 19:57 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Senior JDU (Janata Dal United) leader Sharad Yadav today (May 20, 2005) reacted sharply to the appointment of Arun Pathak as an advisor to Bihar Governor Buta Singh and transfer of two "upright" district magistrates saying the developments signalled the "return of RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) rule" in the State.
"It shows that the honeymoon period is over. It marks the return of RJD rule," Yadav told PTI in New Delhi.
About the political situation in Bihar, he said that fresh polls appeared to be on the cards.
About the feasibility of the formula floated by LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) leader Ram Vilas Paswan that RJD should support a minority Congress Government to be headed by a Muslim, the JDU MP said both Congress and RJD had rejected the suggestion.
