Gangster Balu Dokre shot dead in Malaysia: Police Sunday, May 22 2005 16:36 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Gangster Balu Dokre, an alleged henchman of Chhota Rajan gang was shot dead in Malaysia by unidentified gunmen last night (May 21, 2005), police said.
Police said we have received information that Dokre was shot dead but denied any knowledge about who could be behind the killing.
Sources, however, said Dokre could have been targetted by gunmen hired by rival gangster Chhota Shakeel.
Dokre was a dreaded shooter and was wanted in the killing of Nepalese MP Mirza Dilshad Beg who had alleged links with Dawood Ibrahim.
Sources said Dokre was also sent on mission to kill Ibrahim but it had to be called of due to some reasons.
There are nearly 43 matters of killings and extortion registered against the gangster.
