Hurriyat Conference leaders to visit Pak on June 2

Srinagar: The moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference today (May 25, 2005) decided to visit Pakistan on June 2, Chairman of the separatist amalgam Mirwaiz Umer Farooq said.

"The decision to visit Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was taken at a meeting of the conglomerate here," Farooq told reporters immediately after the meeting.

The meeting discussed the invitation extended by Islamabad and decided to visit the neighbouring country on June 2, he said.
