New Delhi: Gearing up for the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani today (May 25, 2005) appointed party general secretary Arun Jaitley as election in-charge for the State.

Jaitley would coordinate with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ally Janata Dal United (JDU) and supervise the party's preparations for the elections, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

Jaitley was the party's election in-charge for Bihar in the recent Assembly polls also.
