Hizb claims responsibility for the Anantnag blast

Srinagar: Pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit today (May 28, 2005) claimed responsibility for the car-bomb attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, which left 18 people, including 7 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans injured.

A caller introducing himself as a spokesman of the militant group telephoned a local news agency in Srinagar to own responsibility for the blast.
