Uma Bharati appointed as BJP National Executive

New Delhi: Rehabilitating sidelined former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharati, BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) President L K Advani today (May 28, 2005) appointed her as a member of the party's national executive.

Entrusting her with a key responsibility, the stormy petrel of saffron politics has also been appointed Sah-Prabhari (Joint Incharge) for the crucial Bihar Assembly elections, party sources said.

Party General Secretary Arun Jaitley was recently appointed 'Prabhari' (Incharge) for the upcoming polls in the State, following the dissolution of the Assembly.
