Two arrested for selling fake DCE entrance papers

New Delhi: Two persons have been arrested in New Delhi for allegedly selling fake question papers, which they claimed to be of the entrance examination of the Delhi College of Engineering, scheduled for today (May 29, 2005), police said.

Naveen and Asif alias Saif were arrested from Connaught place area last evening, they said.

However, after verification it was found that the papers were fake, they said adding the examination went ahead as scheduled.

Asif owned a cyber cafe and used to entice students who came to it of providing them question papers of the DCE entrance examination.

The papers were allegedly sold upto Rs 1.5 lakh per student, police added.
