Election Commission team winds up 3 day Bihar visit Sunday, May 29 2005 17:43 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The two-member Election Commission panel today (May 29, 2005) winded up their visit to Bihar and left for Delhi after eliciting opinion of political parties, administration and on the spot visit of many regions to decide the timing of holding Assembly polls.
We will submit our report to the Election Commission, Deputy Election Commissioner Ananad Kumar and the Commission's legal advisor S K Mehendiratta told reporters at the airport.
They, however, did not made any comment on the possible date for the election saying, "We will submit our report to the EC which will take a decision on the subject.
We interacted with the representatives of the political parties, administrative officers including the Chief Secretary K A H Subramanian and Director General of Police Ashish Ranjan Sinha and also visited several regions which are flood prone during our three-day visit," they said.
