Hilla (Iraq): At least 13 former police commandos were today (May 30, 2005) killed and 25 wounded when two bombs exploded outside Government offices in Hilla, south of Baghdad, medical sources and a correspondent said.

The blasts occurred around 10:30 hrs (IST) when around 500 former commandos had gathered to demand their reintegration in the police, a correspondent reported.

A bomb attack in Hilla, 100 km south of Baghdad, had killed 118 people in February.
