Chandrababu Naidu re-elected as TDP president

Hyderabad: Chandrababu Naidu was today (May 30, 2005) unanimously re-elected President of Telugu Desam for a two year term in Hyderabad today.

After senior leader and election officer P Ashok Gajapathi Raju announced on the final day of the three-day "Mahanadu" (the party convention) that Naidu was unanimously elected president, as there was no other nomination.

Naidu in his thanks giving speech assured the cadre the party will bounce back to power as Congress is adopting "anti-people policies."
