Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan yesterday (May 29, 2005) said his party would remain in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government, which had successfully completed one-year in office.
Talking to reporters in Kanpur, he praised Manmohan Singh describing him as a different type of Prime Minister.
The Union Minister said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was trying to topple the UPA Government at the Centre and, therefore, his party would remain in the UPA.
On Bihar, Paswan said he favoured a Muslim Chief Minister in the State.
