CET results to be available online today after 2 pm
Tuesday, May 31 2005 15:04 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: The results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the CET Cell will be announced today (May 31, 2005) on www.indiainfo.com and other websites after 14:00 hrs (IST) and tomorrow (May 31, 2005) at all CET examination centers in Karnataka at 11:00 hrs (IST).

CET Cell Special Officer D N Nayak stated in a release yesterday (May 30, 2005) that course-wise merit-lists of CET 2005, held in early May for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BE and BArch courses, will be put up at all 182 exam centres in the State by Wednesday morning.

The results will, however, not be available at the CET Cell office, Mr Nayak clarified.

More than 87,000 students appeared for the CET, in a total of 182 centers this year.

The results can also be assessed through Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) telephones and mobile phones today. Airtel, Spice and Reliance mobile subscribers can also access their results via SMS.

For results on BSNL phone lines, students can dial 1255225 (prefix 9580 if outside Bangalore, 080 if outside Karnataka). BSNL mobile subscribers can dial 12506 for the same service.

As the CET registration number has two alphabets, students must use the number of the alphabet instead of the letter.

A becomes 01, B 02, C 03 and so on, ending with Z as 26. For example, CET registration number AZ654 should be dialled as 01 26 654 (01 for A and 26 for Z) and BX253 as 02 24 253.

The results are available on Spice and Reliance services too. Spice customers must SMS CET (space) registration number to 555.

Students can get their results on Reliance World's application suite 'Exam Results' by selecting 'Get Results'. Students can register their numbers in advance so they would get results soon after 2 pm. They can also SMS KACET followed by registration number to 1234 or 3926.

A high CET score is essential for those aspiring for Government quota seats in the State medical, dental and engineering colleges.
