PM Manmohan Singh to visit Siachen on June 12

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Siachen, the world's highest battlefield, on June 12.
This is the first time that a Prime Minister of this country is visiting this inhospitable glacier, PMO sources said today (Jun 1, 2005).
Spotlight: Kashmir is NOT negotiable
During his visit to Siachen, the Prime Minister will address the jawans guarding the borders under sub-zero conditions.

Singh will visit Leh in Jammu and Kashmir for two days on June 10 and 11 and would attend the annual Sindhu Darshan festival.
