New Delhi:
Ajitabh Bachchan has indicated there are differences with his elder brother and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and said the actor did not share cordial ties with the family of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
The younger Bachchan, who is writing a book touching sensitive subjects of his brother's life, told Star News, "Differences have cropped up between the two brothers."
"I have been living abroad for a long time and that automatically brings in geographical distance," London-based Ajitabh was quoted by the TV channel's press release.
Asked if Amitabh's new friends were the reason behind the differences, Ajitabh said he did not think it would be appropriate to comment on that right now".
To a specific question if Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Amar Singh has anything to do with the differences between the two brothers, Ajitabh said though he would not like to comment at this juncture, but "if that thought comes to my mind, I'll definitely write about it".
He, however, did not rule out reconciliation with his elder brother saying, "It's a small world and it's a short life... Anything is possible. Let us see what happens."
Ajitabh said his elder brother no longer shared warm and cordial relations with the Gandhis while his own family continued to maintain friendly ties with Sonia Gandhi.
