Boat capsizes in Narmada River; 30 feared drowned

Vadodara: About 30 persons were feared to have drowned after a boat capsized in the Narmada river at Malsar village about 80 kms from Vadodara today (Jun 3, 2005).

Seven bodies have been fished out from the river, while three others, who have been rescued are in serious condition, sources said.

The rescue operation is on and exact figure of casualty will be known later, sources added.
