Tsunami: Animal Husbandry dept donates Rs 18 lakh

Chandigarh: The Punjab Animal Husbandry Department today (Jun 3, 2005) contributed Rs 18 lakh towards the Chief Minister's Tsunami Relief Fund.

Animal Husbandry Minister Jagmohan Singh Kang presented a cheque of Rs 18 lakh to Chief Minister Amarinder Singh who appreciated the gesture of the department.

Punjab has so far contributed Rs 10.75 crore towards Prime Minister's Relief Fund for rehabilitation of victims of Tsunami tragedy.
