After Time, Aishwarya is on Russian magazine cover
Saturday, June 4 2005 12:30 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Moscow: After featuring on the cover of Time and China's Beijing Review, Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai has now hit the cover of a popular Russian magazine, which dubs her "beauty number one".

According to Russian weekly 'TV Park' - popular among Russian housewives and young workingwomen - Aishwarya is the "beauty number one" of the cine world.

The glossy has done a four-page feature on Aishwarya apart from featuring her on its cover.

TV Park's cover story "Aishwarya Rai: The Woman without Prejudices", punctuated with dozens of photographs of the actress, gives details of her personal life and her meteoric rise from 'Miss India' to stardom.

"First appearance of Rai at Cannes (with 'Devdas') was a real sensation. Her gorgeous silk sari had eclipsed exclusively designed dresses of Hollywood stars. Why stars, the Hollywood stars themselves had faded in her presence," the weekly observed.

"If she has overtaken all the beauties on the list of the most beautiful women of the world including aggressive Catherine Zeta-Jones, it should not be a surprise if Aishwarya one fine day puts any Hollywood superman at her feet as a war trophy," TV Park said.
