Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar hospitalised
Sunday, June 5 2005 20:08 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar has been admitted to a hospital in the national capital.

The 78-year-old politician was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi yesterday (Jun 4, 2005) afternoon, hospital sources told PTI today (Jun 5).

The doctors attending to the veteran leader declined to divulge details about the nature of his illness.

Sources at his residence merely said that he was admitted to the hospital after he complained of back pain.

Meanwhile, a function to release a compilation of interviews of Chandrasekhar scheduled this evening by Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was postponed due the former's indisposition.
