London based missing IBM official returns to city Sunday, June 5 2005 10:52 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

London-based IBM executive Rajiv Bhattacharya, who went missing from near a bank in the metropolis on June 1, was brought back to the city by a team of Kolkata Police detective department from Mughal Sarai this morning (June 5, 2005).
Bhattacharya, who had been spotted at Mughal Sarai railway station on June 3, was admitted to a city-based private hospital immediately after arrival, Deputy Commissioner of Detective Department (I), Kolkata Police, Gyanwant Singh told sources in Kolkata.
Bhattacharya, who was brought back to the city along with some of his family members, would be interrogated about the circumstances behind his sudden disappearance after his recovery, as he was not keeping well now, Singh said.
Bhattacharya, who had been treated at a hospital in Mughalsarai after the GRP spotted him roaming alone in the station and took him to custody.
A team of Kolkata police sleuths then rushed to Mughalsarai along with some of his family members to bring him back to the city.
Interestingly Bhattacharya was found on the day when he was to get married here and for which he had flown down to the city on May 29.
