President Kalam returns after 14-day official trip

New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam arrived in New Delhi yesterday night (June 4, 2005) after a 14-day official trip covering Russia, Switzerland, Iceland and Ukraine.

He was received on arrival at the Palam Airport by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his cabinet colleagues Arjun Singh, Shivraj Patil and Kumari Selja.

Among others who were present on the occasion were the three service chiefs and the envoys of the four nations in New Delhi.
