SI among three policemen killed in landmine blast

Nagpur: A Police sub-Inspector and two constables were killed in a landmine blast allegedly triggered by naxals near Angara, in Kurkheda taluka in Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra today (Jun 6, 2005), police said.

A police party had gone to Kurkheda to collect information about 'Jan-Jagran Melawa' (Awareness programme), when the blast occurred, they said.

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot.
