Resignation of Advani a 'drama', says Laloo Prasad
Tuesday, June 7 2005 16:52 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Patna: Dubbing the resignation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani as "drama", Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Laloo Prasad today (Jun 7, 2005) said if he was serious he should resign from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and also take action against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

"I mean to say that all these things are drama," the Railway Minister said told reporters and advised Advani to stick to his decision.

"If resigned, stick to it. Resign from the RSS membership, initiate action against Modi, repent on Babri Masjid demolition," he said adding even Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, after Agra Summit had blamed "one person Advani for its failure."

The RJD chief, however, described Mohammad Ali Jinnah a secular leader and said all those who know history will say so after reading it.
