Sangh played no role in Advani's resignation: RSS
Wednesday, June 8 2005 15:52 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Mumbai: Describing the resignation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani as the 'internal matter of the party', Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief K Sudarshan today (Jun 8, 2005) said the Sangh had no role in the events leading to his resignation.

"The matter would have to be resolved by the party leaders among themselves," he told reporters in Mumbai.

"Advani has done a good work" the Sangh Chief said when asked to comment on his earlier remarks lauding the work done by Advani.

Sudarshan, who had arrived in Mumbai this morning, left for Jaipur in the afternoon, sources said.
