Washington: Jet Airways has filed an additional document in response to the objections raised against its proposal to start flight operations to the US later this month by an American company.

"We have not asked for any additional information" on Jet Airways application for permission to start an India-US service but "they filed an additional document in response to the objections. We did not ask," Department of Transportation Spokesman Bill Mosley told sources yesterday (Jun 8, 2005).

Jet Airways had earlier declared that it would take legal action against the American aviation company with a similar name that had made allegations that India's domestic airline has links to "undesirables".
