Happenings in BJP a 'great Indian tamasha': Cong Friday, June 10 2005 20:46 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Congress today (Jun 10, 2005) dubbed as the "great Indian tamasha" the happenings in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the wake of L K Advani's resignation as party chief and said the developments showed the saffron party having a "split personality."
"It is to be seen who will win. Dr Jekyll or Mr Hide," party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
He was also scathing in his criticism of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi accusing of "seeking a certificate of good conduct" from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Contemporary Studies, an independent think tank within the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
"The huge and misleading ads by the Gujarat Government show the desperation of Modi," he said.
