To gain slot in Guinness he eats live frog, snakes!
Saturday, June 11 2005 16:16 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: It might sound like a horror story and nauseating sight to witness, but it is a reality that a youth has taken to eating live frogs, cockroaches and snakes to get an entry into the Guinness Book of World records.

Strange are the ways of human beings craving for limelight and here is one such example.

A 24-year-old youth from Shimoga district in Karnataka, Mohammed Mansoor has taken to eating live frogs, earthworms, cockroaches, water snakes and raw flesh.

Mansoor, who demonstrated his beastly act before the scribes, took them back to the primitive age, when human beings depended on raw flesh for survival before the advent of fire.

He says he took to the habit to see his name in the Guinness book of world records.

To the dismay of the gathering at a press conference here, Mansoor, said he derived immense pleasure from savouring live frogs, snakes and cockroaches, virtually revelling on his nauseating habits.

Mansoor who chewed a frog, later devoured raw flesh, claimed he could eat 60 raw eggs, leaving everyone shell shocked.

Mansoor also claims he can digest five kgs of raw meat daily.
