Kalavai (TN): The Seers of the Kanchi Mutt, Jayendra Saraswathi and Vijayendra Saraswathi, arrived in Kalavai from Kancheepuram today (Jun 11, 2005) after a three-day stay at the Mutt there.

However, the Mutt sources were tight-lipped about the duration of their stay in Kalavai.

Both the Seers performed poojas after their arrival, Mutt sources said.

Jayendra Saraswathi, who was arrested in connection with the September 3 Sankararaman murder case, was camping at the Brindavan complex in Kalavai after getting bail in the case in January.

The Junior Seer was staying at Chennai after his release on bail on February 10 in connection with the case. He was arrested in January. He had moved to Kalavai in April.

The Seers had visited the Kanchi Mutt after a gap of several months on June 8.
