New Delhi:
Close on the heels of the blast in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today (Jun 13, 2005) reviewed a meeting to discuss the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was attended among others by Union Home Secretary V K Duggal and Special Secretary (Internal Security) Anil Chaudhry.
"This is a desperate act on the part of those who do not want the situation in the State to improve. Despite these provocations, the Government would continue its endeavour to establish normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir," Patil said in his condolence statement.
