Fodder scam: HC dismisses Laloo-Rabri petition

Patna: Patna High Court today (Jun 21, 2005) dismissed the writ petition of RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) president Laloo Prasad and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi challenging their prosecution in a disproportionate asset case, an offshoot of the multi-crore fodder scam.

The petition was unanimously dismissed by a full bench of the High Court comprising Justice R N Prasad, Justice Barin Ghosh and Justice M L Visa.

The court had completed hearing on May 18 but had reserved its order.
