Indo-US: Burns to visit India ahead of PM's visit Tuesday, June 21 2005 14:40 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Washington next month, US Under Secretary of State Nicholas Burns would visit New Delhi later this week to discuss the developments in the Indo-US strategic partnership.
Burns would arrive in New Delhi on June 24 and meet senior Government officials and political leaders before proceeding to Dhaka.
Prior to his India visit, Burns would travel to London on June 21 and discuss UN reforms with his counterparts from UN Security Council permanent member States, according to a US Embassy release.
He would also meet his counterparts from Japan and Australia as part of the US-Japan-Australia strategic dialogue. On June 23, he would accompany Secretary of State Condolezza Rice for the G-8 Foreign Ministers meetings.
