S M Krishna returns ban on dance bars ordinance

Mumbai: In a major setback to the DF (Democratic Front) Government in Maharashtra, Governor S M Krishna today (Jun 23, 2005) sent back the ordinance to the State Government that intended to ban all dance bars in the State.

The Governor has sought clarification on certain issues and has given certain directions to the State Government on the issue while returning the ordinance, Raj Bhawan sources said.
