Case against Uma, 11 others adjourned to July 11

Hubli: Hearing in the 11 year-old criminal case against former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti and 11 others has been adjourned to July 11.

When the court commenced in the morning, it was announced that since the Additional District and Sessions court judge, Justice B Durgappa had gone on training; the case had been adjourned to July 11.

Social activists Gauri Lankesh and others had questioned the JMFC lower court order discharging Uma Bharti and others in the criminal case in the Additional District and Sessions Court last September 2004.
