New Delhi: Priya Dutt, daughter of late Sunil Dutt, would be the Congress candidate for the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency represented by her actor-turned-politician father, party sources said today (July 1, 2005).

"Priya will be the Congress candidate for the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency whenever the elections are held," party spokesman Abishek Singhvi told reporters in New Delhi.

He said Priya and her actor brother Sanjay Dutt earlier met Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
