BJP National Secretary Sudheendra Kulkarni resigns
Monday, July 4 2005 10:33 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: BJP national secretary Sudheendra Kulkarni resigned yesterday (July 03, 2005).

"I have tendered my resignation," Kulkarni told sources. He has been under attack from the Sangh Parivar for allegedly misleading BJP President L K Advani during his controversial visit to Pakistan last month.

Last week he had written a letter to Advani offering to step down but had stressed on the need to recast the Bharatiya Janata Party-Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (BJP-RSS) ties.
