Terrorists in Ayodhya; One captured and five killed

Ayodhya: Terrorists entered the premises by breaking the security cordon and the crossed the barricades in an ambassador car. The driver of the car has been captured and the other five killed by the police

The police says the situation is now under control. Even though the terrorists reached 150 metres nearer to the temple disputed site is not affected, they added. Police forces believes more information will be available by questioning the driver

Terrorists in Ayodhya; Four of them gunned down

Terrorists entered the premises by Breaking the security cordon and the crossed the barricades in an ambassador car at around 9.45 am. The driver of the car captured and the other Four have been killed by police. The police says the situation is now under control.

Describing the events, Faizabad Commissioner Arun Kumar Sinha said the security personnel surrounded the terrorists near a room of the Sita Rasoi area of the disputed site. Police says three of the terrorists are still inside the premises. NSG commandos are to leave for ayodhya.

Terrorists enters Ram Janmabhoomi; One killed

Breaking the security cordon, four unidentified persons, suspected to be militants, gained entry into the disputed Ram Janambhoomi campus here and fired indiscriminately, leading to heavy exchange of fire with security forces in which one of the attackers was killed and another captured, police sources said.

The attack happened by 9.30 this morning (July 05, 2005). Faizabad Police Commissioner Arun Sinha, said that the incident happened within 500 metres of the disputed site.

The terrorists came in an Ambassador car and cut a barbed wire around the premises to gain entry. Police started firing to terrorists. The firing between the police and the terrorists are continuing.
