VHP, Bajrang Dal call for M'rashtra bandh on July 7

Mumbai: The VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) and Bajrang Dal have called for Maharashtra bandh on July 7 in the wake of terrorist attack on the makeshift temple in Ayodhya today (July 5, 2005).

"We have called for a bandh on July 7 to protest the attack on Ramjanambhoomi at Ayodhya," VHP zonal secretary Prof Vyankatesh Abdev told sources in Mumbai.

Both VHP and Bajrang Dal will hold demonstrations and protest marches throughout the State, Abdev said.
