Security beefed up in Mumbai after Ayodhya incident

Mumbai: Security has been beefed up in the metropolis following terrorist attack in the disputed Ram Janambhoomi complex at Ayodhya today (July 5,2005), Mumbai Police Commissioner A N Roy said in Mumbai.

"We have taken special measures outside temples and other religious places in the city following the incident," Roy told sources.

Additional police have been deployed at prominent temples and places of worship, Roy added.
